Your questions answered

How reliable is the result?
The multiple range provides an initial estimate based on your information and the available sector data. It applies to EBITDA or, when that basis is unavailable, to revenue. The calculator does not review supporting documents. A sale or financing decision requires a more detailed assessment.
What happens to the figures I enter?
The initial calculation runs in your browser without an email address. If you request the full report, the company figures and contact details needed to provide it are stored. The privacy notice explains how this information is handled.
Does this replace a formal valuation?
The calculator provides an initial indication. A formal valuation examines your financial statements, forecasts, and business circumstances in detail. The calculator does not perform that review.
Can I value a business in my sector?
The calculator covers selected activities in industrial businesses, IT and software, and business services. You can review the available activities when choosing your sector. Coverage expands only when sufficient data is available.
What does the valuation cost?
The valuation and full report are free. Requesting them does not engage us for paid advisory services.
How do I receive my result?
Your multiple range appears online without an email address. Request the free report for the estimated value range and an explanation of the calculation. You can access it after confirming your email address.
Which figures should I have ready?
Have your annual revenue, EBITDA, financial debt, and cash balances ready. EBITDA is earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization. You will also be asked about earnings trends, your role in the business, and recurring revenue. If you do not know your EBITDA, the calculator can estimate it using a sector margin, which adds uncertainty.
